Jim Mazotas

Founder & CEO

The founder of innerActiv, Jim is responsible for design, technology and strategy, including all aspects of product design and development. He is also the patent author for the innerActiv technology and is presently designing future applications and improvements for exclusive use within the innerActiv framework.

Jim has extensive experience in developing new technical business strategies and solutions for many Fortune 500 companies worldwide. He was founder and CEO of Plannet—a leading provider of innovative security and networking products and services for small and medium-sized businesses, which was sold to CareWorks Technologies. Prior to Plannet, Jim held senior technical positions with Toyota, Lockheed Martin, Department of Defense and AT&T, where his contributions positioned the organizations for successful implementations of advanced technologies.

Jim has received several awards and honors, including the 2005 Columbus TopCAT (Top Contributors for Advanced Technology) Award for outstanding business and the 2003 Presidential and National Leadership Award from the Business Advisory Council.

Eric Parker

Co-Founder & CTO

Eric Parker has been focused on the intersection of cyber-security, data sovereignty, and distributed and decentralized computing for over a decade.  Eric brings a wealth of software architecture experience, a research and innovation mentality, and practical development leadership to innerActiv.  He leads the company's technology research, innovation, architecture, and development - with an emphasis on exploring emerging technologies and shaping them into products that improve the business and value to customers.

He is the holder of two cyber-security patents, was the chief technologist on a competitively awarded DARPA contract, an Army Research Lab contract, was recruited by and led a Fortune 100 multi-year cutting-edge computer-aided engineering contract, and has been the CTO and founder for several successful companies.  Eric has also won numerous awards, including the Edison Emerging Technology Award, the Bridgestone President's Award for Innovation (twice), and was a NorTech Innovation Finalist.

Beth McDaniel

VP, Product Management

Beth McDaniel serves as Vice President of Product Management for innerActiv, having been with the product since its earliest stages. She uses her combined experience in User Experience, Development/QA, and Marketing to bridge the gap between technical teams and marketing departments, ensuring that product development is guided by a comprehensive understanding of market demands and customer expectations.

Beth has a documented track record in technology leadership and training, ensuring innerActiv is always moving forward toward the next innovation.
